Ensemble in Process… Light of Strings is a special concert that will take the audience on an intimate journey of faith, spirituality, catharsis, grief, redemption, and light. Brian Mark (piano) and Allyson Clare (violin/viola) will perform a combination of solo and duet works for piano and violin, viola. Ensemble in Process… also welcomes performing artists Kurt Behnke, Jacob Nordlinger, Lenna Pierce, and Danielle Merlis who will be giving the East Coast premiere of Ryan Brown’s, “The Light by Which She May Have Ascended” for four cellos. Also on the programme are works by Meredith Monk*, Erik Satie*, Missy Mazzoli*, Oliver Messiaen, Michael Gordon*, and yours truly.
